2022 UAMA Symposium

We thank Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala for the successful 2022 Uganda American Muslims Association (UAMA) Symposium, themed to Rebuild, Renew and Reinvent our communities which was organized by the Uganda Muslim Youths of Boston, a UAMA member organization in the Massachusetts chapter.  Re-known Muslim scholars and preachers from Uganda were the guests of speakers; some of whom delivered their teachings via telecommunications. Among these guests were: Sheikh Ahmad Kyeyune, Sheikh Muhsin Kiti, Sheihk Ismail Nkata, Sheikh Shafik Mafu, Dr. Kassim Kayiira, and many others.

The symposium also had a grand dinner fundraising that saw Muslims raise over $200,000.00 for a Uganda Muslim Islamic Center to be built in Massachusetts.

Our sincere thanks go to the Sheikhs, the Muslim Youths of Boston, the sponsors, and partners, and all the community Brothers and Sisters for their unending support.

Jazāk Allāhu Khayran
