Purpose: A group of Ugandan Muslims in the US formed the Ugandan American Muslim Association (UAMA) in 2008 "to emphasize a person’s religious, social, cultural, economical, and intellectual development. UAMA is committed to helping one grow, assisting him/her to understand all areas of human knowledge from the perspective of a Muslim, and preparing them to impact their world in the name of Allah.
Membership: Membership is open to all. All memberships are renewed annually and follow the calendar year schedule.

UAMA added new Membership categories/Levels in addition to its traditional Individual and Family membership levels above. The new Membership categories and levels are: Platinum $1000.00 Gold $750.00 Silver $550.00 Bronze $450.00

Platinum Level: Two Extra Memberships & Two (2) Extra Conf. registrations
Gold Level: Two Extra Memberships & One (1) Extra Conference registrations
Silver Level: Two Extra Memberships & One (1) Conference registration
Bronze Level: One Individual Conference Registration
